The Decision

It’s our daily business to decide whether to get up or sleep ten more minutes, whether to eat this or that, to just mention a few. As soon as it comes to bigger decisions we act like we have never had to decide anything before. But why?

The Head

I would say that most of us decide out of a logical head solution. It makes sense to get up in the morning and go to work or school, no question. In this century we were taught that everything has to make sense and fit into your plan. What if you always decide what your head thinks is right and forget to listen what your heart wants?

The Heart

As my Dad always says: “Your heart decides in the first seconds, your head accepts it or denies it.”

I had to relearn to listen to what my heart wants rather than what my head thinks is right. I am not talking about stupid decisions which could bring trouble. I am talking about decisions which can change your mood which can free you and open new horizons.

Since I have started to focus on what my heart wants, I had to say no to other things. Very interesting things, fun things or things which could have been boring as well. I have learned to listen to the feeling which pops up as soon as it comes to decision making.

Some decisions have a greater impact than others.

If you are worrying right now that the decision of you heart could miss God’s plan, then read this. I think that God guards your heart and puts desires and dreams in your heart. In my perspective it is even better to listen to your heart than always go for the logical solution.
